Celebration Days During National Library Week

Monday, April 7: Right to Read Day, Make this the week you renew your library card, get a replacement for a lost card, or sign up for a new card.  Library staff are always ready to help.

Tuesday, April 8: National Library Workers Day, a day for library staff, users, administrators, and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.  Come on in and add a note or illustration to our bulletin board honoring our amazing staff!

Wednesday, April 9: National Library Outreach Day (formerly National Bookmobile Day), a day to celebrate library outreach and the dedicated library professionals who are meeting their patrons where they are.  Did you know Adair County Public Library delivers books to our homebound patrons?  We also provide programming for groups who are unable to come to the library. 

Thursday, April 10: Come to the library and make a bookmark!   (Supplies provided all day.)

Friday, April 11:  Storytime at 10:00 am

Saturday, April 12:  Make a Stuffie at 10:00 am (Sign up required)
                                Mischief Managed at the Library 4:00 to 6:00 pm
