Thousand Hills StoryWalk

Come out and enjoy the StoryWalk's
The Tree That's Meant to Be
Written by Yuval Zommer

The story can be found along the Forest Lake Trail and is spread out half a mile. StoryWalk is brought to you by Adair County Public Library and Thousand Hills State Park, promoting literacy and time outdoors.

2025-2026 Book Discussion Sponsored by the Friends of the Adair County Public Library Book Discussion meets at 5:30 pm on the following Tuesday evenings: September 9th- Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt October 14th- The Flower Sisters by Michelle Collins Anderson November 11th- The Women by Kristin Hannah January 13th- When Winter Came by Mary Beth Sartor Obermeyer February 10th- The Small and the Mighty by Sharon McMahon March 10th- The Nickel Boys by Tolson Whitehead April 14th- Me, the Mob and the Music by Thomas James and Martin Fitzpatrick The Friends of the Library are hosting a special author event October 7th at 6pm. Author Joe Benevento will be doing a reading and talking about his books. Refreshments and valet parking will be available.
